Gibson Transfer, Inc.

Gibson Transfer, Inc. was incorporated August 31, 1998.  The company provides municipal solid waste hauling from Minnesota transfer stations to sanitary landfills in Wisconsin and Iowa.

Areas of Operation

Duluth, MN

Operation of Western Lake Superior Sanitary District (WLSSD) Transfer Station.

Gibson provides loading and hauling of waste from the transfer station to the Lake Area Landfill in Sarona, WI.  Drivers typically haul three loads per day in late model Peterbilt tractors pulling 53’ tipper trailers.  Waste from the Carlton County Transfer Station is cycled through the WLSSD Transfer Station as well.

Twin Cities Metro Area

Gibson provides hauling of waste and demo material from Vasko Rubbish in St. Paul to the Lake Area Landfill in Sarona, WI.  Drivers typically haul two loads per day in late model Peterbilt tractors pulling 53’ tipper and walking floor trailers.  This operation requires twelve to thirteen trucks and trailers.

Three trucks with eight van trailers provide hauling from  Walters Recycling & Refuse in Blaine, MN to the landfill in Sarona.  Drivers typically haul two loads per day.

Auto fluff is transported with the same equipment from Gerdau Ameristeel St. Paul Mill in St. Paul to the landfill in Sarona.  Six to seven trucks provide this service.

Ash is transported from the HERC – (Hennepin Energy) in Minneapolis, MN to the landfill in Sarona.  One truck and trailer unit is dedicated to this haul.
